BEN HOGAN IRONS!!! FORT WORTH 15’s, EPISODE 5

Learn Ben Hogans Secret

This is the fifth episode in a series of 7 videos for the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. Each video tells the story about my quest for the perfect set of golf clubs, and each video ends with a Hogan swing lesson.

In this video I get fit for the TK 15 wedges and get to check out a full set of Fort Worth 15's! In this lesson I discuss swinging post impact for a full release.

And, for the first time I am offering a new instructional series from My Swing Evolution! All of my lessons and insights are condensed into one video that is 1 hour and 21 minutes long!

You can click on the link below for more details!

The video is available for download for $29.95 or for a one day rental for $19.95.

    Can’t wait until episode 6

  2. slappy0077 says:

so let me understand something…every season when Titleist, Nike, Srixon
etc. come out with new balls you have to take these clubs back in to get
    them re-fitted to match?

  3. Danielsan says:

    I want those irons😛

  4. Mark Anthony says:

Would love to have a swing like that 🙂 very nice swing.

    • myswingevolution says:

Thank you, Mark. It took some work, but worth every minute.

    • Mark Anthony says:

+myswingevolution i want to buy Hogans book. Your left hand looks nice and
flat with no bend between the back of your left hand and top of your left
arm. with a slight angle at the top of the back swing, which then causes
the club face to also be at a slight angle. is this due to having a weak
grip, and your hands don’t go higher then your right shoulder. mirror image
of Mr Hogans swing. very nice. if i didn’t live in london england, i would
      pay for lessons 😉

  5. Seamus Griffin says:

That’s such a good thought …. don’t try to hit the ball, just swing the
    club!

  6. Dave Parry says:

Loving this series of videos Christo. Do you know whether these irons are
available in the UK? Also how do they compare in feel to the Mizuno forged
    irons?

    • Diego Diaz says:

Ha !!! Good luck Dave. They don’t offer for a try out over here. Don’t
think they like us that much. So it’s guess work on their site then tons of
cash to buy and ship over. All that without even having a chance in even
trying them out ?? Ehmmm . Don’t think so.

    • myswingevolution says:

I’m not sure how to go about getting a set of these irons in the UK,
unfortunately. They are very close to Mizuno’s but I dare say they feel a
bit more solid and consistent, I believe because of the small scallop
cavity in the back that I have described as being similar to Mizuno’s cut
      muscle design.

  7. Sam Salima says:

He said this in one of his early videos…. “Swing through the ball… Not
at the ball.” Perfect description I thought.

  8. bigscreen bird says:

Cool vid! keep up the good work!

  9. MarcHill83 says:

Christo, did you ask to put a piece of twine along the grip to give you the
    feel like Mr Hogan’s grips?

  10. Diego Diaz says:

And the Muiras ?? You know deep down that they are the classier irons.

    • myswingevolution says:

      No, I don’t know that.

    • Diego Diaz says:

+myswingevolution hahaha. As expected. The perfect Diplomatic answer.
      Politic career awaits.

    • Dale Pollock says:

+Diego Diaz Diego, you might be missing the point, it’s not about class (I
own Miura’s as well as Hogans). Both first class.
It’s about how you can get 7-8 clubs in the scoring range. Miura don’t
      offer that option.
PS: I have no connection with Hogan, I had mine built and sent to Australia

    • myswingevolution says:

Very true, precision loft makes a huge difference. Any time you bend a club
      you affect the bounce.

  11. nigel brooks says:

OMG sweet irons can`t wait to see them on the grass and seeing how they cut
    through the dirt

  12. Mike Zulla says:

Does this mean the Miura Irons are for sale? 🙂 I can’t wait to hear your
feedback when you take the Hogans out on the course. I’m in the running for
a new set of irons this coming season.

  13. christopherMTLvideos says:

Christo, how long did this entire fitting session actually take in reality?

  14. Chase Reyes says:

Christo, do you think you’re a little biased to the name Ben Hogan. I put
these right behind Miura. These are most definitely the best iron for the
price they are offered hands down though. Will be putting these in the bag
    when I wear out my 714 MB’s.

    • myswingevolution says:

Yes, I am openly biased but I believe honestly these are the best irons I
      have ever hit.

    • Dale Pollock says:

+Chase Reyes Chase, I have Miura’s as well. It’s not the quality of each
brand (both first class). It is the ability via the one degree lofts to get
      more clubs in the
scoring range that made me get the Hogan’s.
And BTW I had to pay for my Hogans.

    • myswingevolution says:

That is the key. I can’t believe no one has ever done this before. I
actually told Mike Maves a few years ago that it was time to just put the
      lofts on the irons.

  15. FairwayJack says:

…I want in on that Ben Hogan seance

  16. Dave Parry says:

Fair comment. They need to sell World wide rather than being just USA based
to make this work in my opinion.

  17. Rob W says:

does matt know hogan is dead?

  18. The Powertan says:

If you need to relieve yourself of your now old miuras… If be happy to
take them off your hands to make room for those beautiful hogans!

  19. gbvoul says:

Any idea where the Ft. Worth 15s are forged? USA, Japan, Thailand?

  20. Scott Willi says:

    Christo is getting off!
