BEN HOGAN IRONS!!! FORT WORTH 15’s, EPISODE 7 – IRON REVIEW

Learn Ben Hogans Secret

This is the seventh episode in a series of 7 videos for the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment Company. Each video tells the story about my quest for the perfect set of golf clubs, and each video ends with a Hogan swing lesson.

In this video I take my new irons to the course and play 9 holes with only my Fort Worth 15's, and then I follow it up with a stellar review. In this lesson I discuss moving the left shoulder all the way to the finish of the swing, which will help you continue your acceleration through impact.

And, for the first time I am offering a new instructional series from My Swing Evolution! All of my lessons and insights are condensed into one video that is 1 hour and 21 minutes long!

You can click on the link below for more details!

The video is available for download for $29.95 or for a one day rental for $19.95.

Can’t believe this rollercoaster of a series is over Christo. Hope you
enjoy your new irons and wedges. Can’t wait to see you digging dirt on the
range with them. Best of luck
    Colm

Nothing but great feedback and reviews from everyone on these irons. I’d
game these if I could afford them. Not sure what took them so long to
    sponsor you Christo?

    • myswingevolution says:

I haven’t seen a bad review, yet. I certainly love them and I’m happy just
to be in the company of such great folks at the Ben Hogan Golf Equipment
      Company.

  3. Diego Diaz says:

    So you have 21′ 25′ 29′ 33′ 37′ 41′ 45′ 49′ 53′ 57′ 61′ ?

    • drrob1963 says:

      +60DegreeLobWedge I have a set of the new Hogans, and I call my 63 a “63”
      and my 31 a “31” etc. I don’t play the “3-iron”, “7-iron” game anymore –
not since the big golf companies like Taylormade distorted iron
numbers beyond recognition. 30* 7-irons? Ridiculous!

    • Diego Diaz says:

+drrob1963 for sure if anyone has any ideas about purchasing really needs a
4 hour fitting session. Just have to if really serious about spending $1500
+ !!!! And that’s why this Hogan company has to really expand its services
      to outside the US.

    • myswingevolution says:

I was mistaken at first. The 21 is a 4 iron. If you want to hear something
really crazy, Taylor Made has a 6 iron that’s 26 degrees now!

    • myswingevolution says:

      Exactly.

    • drrob1963 says:

      +myswingevolution A 26* 6-iron??? Mr Mega-Muscles will be in raptures:
“Look how far I hit that one!” (even though his scores are no better). The
Hogan Apex “Redlines” from 1988, one of the best blades ever, had a 26.5*
      4-iron!!! – I’ll have the Redlines, thanks!

  4. 2drsdan says:

Nice stuff Christo, I love the ball staying in view, do you choose yellow
for that reason? and what is your camera?

  5. Colin Selfridge says:

I must admit those are a beautiful set of stix.

  6. slappy0077 says:

Eaton Canyon is one thing…how about going off the black tees at the
Eisenhower course at Industry Hills with these new irons :-D

  7. Sean Sack says:

Looks like you’re swinging really well Christo. Congrats of your new setup
as well! Greetings from Winnipeg Canada, the birthplace of George Knudson.

  8. FairwayJack says:

Over in S. Africa, Marc Leishman just won the Nedbank Golf Challenge using
    your clubs …by 6 shots!

  9. madlife5 says:

I’m curious what your other distances are if the 6 iron is 200.

  10. Jayce Boyd says:

I would be scared to ding those up during longer road trips for college.
    Those things are gorgeous.

  11. Michael Trumbell says:

I really like the idea of choosing lofts. I would probably get them stamped
    with the iron equivalent #.

  12. Fullkornsglass says:

What shafts are you playing, Christo?

  13. Chris Banner says:

I’m still playing my White Cameos, but I guess it’s time I got some fresh
    grooves. Thanks Christo.

  14. Timjhd says:

Thank you for sharing the fitting process. I am scheduled for fitting
tomorrow morning for a set of these irons thanks to your videos. Well done
    Christo!

  15. Alan Martins says:

can’t believe that they don’t make them in lefties

  16. BirdieBrosGolf TV says:

will you be testing the new vktr hybrid when it comes out?

  17. Ligerpride says:

You’ve developed such a great swing. Great job. Love the enthusiasm.

  18. R L says:

    Whaaat?! So cool! Better document.

  19. Bounyou Sihom says:

What shaft did u get it fitted for those irons

  20. Michael Ticehurst says:

Really enjoyed this fascinating insight into your journey of discovering
your ‘perfect’ iron set. I have seen some of your earlier videos (as I am a
new devotee of youtube golf video watching), and have noticed your swing
and course management improve immensely. You possess a certain hungry-ness
(if that is such a word) to learn and in-turn teach others. I admire that.
Thanks for the vlogs, I have really enjoyed them….Keep ’em coming
Christo. Cheers, from Sydney, Australia – Mike.
